Sea otters live in the sea.
Sea otters like to float in the sea. They float on their backs when they eat or sleep.
Sea otters can hold paws when they sleep.

Sea otters' feet are webbed. The feet are like flippers. This makes them good swimmers.
The sea otter needs its thick hair in the cold sea. The thick hair keeps its body warm and dry.
Sea otters like to eat fish and crabs. They can crack a crab's shell. They smash the crab's shell on a rock.
A baby sea otter is called a pup. At first pups just float in the sea. Soon they start to learn to swim.
A sea otter can carry its pup on its belly.
Pups drink their mum's milk.
