Hamsters have big teeth. They nibble with their teeth.
Hamsters eat seeds, nuts, fruit and vegetables. In the wild, hamsters eat bugs and frogs too.
Hamsters have big cheeks. They stuff food in their cheeks. They bring it back to their home, so they can eat it later.
Hamsters are good pets.
A common pet hamster is the golden hamster.
Hamsters' teeth keep growing. So hamsters must bite hard things. This makes their teeth shorter.
Hamsters bite wood or twigs. They do not eat the wood!
