Flying fish
To jump out of the sea, a flying fish must swim fast. Its thin, pointy shape helps it to go fast.
Before a flying fish can glide in the air, it must keep moving on top of the water. It keeps moving by swinging its tail left and right under the water.
It then lifts off into the air. It can glide a long way – about the length of 2 football pitches.
In the sea, lots of animals hunt flying fish. Dorado like to eat them.
